The answer to the question is C.

Explanation:

Statement I => if Rasheed bought x packages of toffee he would have bought x-1 packages of chocolate. NOT SUFFICIENT.

Statement II => Handed out same number of Toffee bars as Chocolate bars. 2/3C=3/5T . NOT SUFFICIENT.

Combining I & II => 2/3(x-1) = 3/5x => x (Toffee) = 10 and
x-1 (Chocolate) = 9

Hence C.

Whats the OA?

It is C.

I misread the first statement, which gave me a negative on one side of my equation, whereas it should have given me a positive. Thanks, though.
