I'm currently on the wait list at USC Marshall. Today I retook the GMAT in an attempt to strengthen my application. I originally scored a 640 (36 quant, 42 verbal), which I just pushed up marginally to a 650 (34 quant, 45 verbal).
Marshall encourages wait listed applicants to submit additional materials throughout the process, and I'm debating about whether or not I should submit my unofficial score report. My only concern is the decrease in the quant portion of my score.
To give some background, I haven't taken a math class since 1993 (high school) and have little professional quant experience (I've worked in a creative industry for the past 10+ years). I've enrolled in a statistics class at UCLA Extension, which starts next week.
Any thoughts or suggestions on submitting my new GMAT score?
