Can anyone recommend any good resources for researching MBA programs with strong Private Equity components?

I bought the Clear Admit guide to entrepreneurship MBAs and I'd love a similar resource to consult for PE, but they don't have one.

Any and all ideas are more than welcome.

Thanks,

I think the best way to go about this is by word of mouth. I personally have heard of particular strengths at GSB, Haas, and Kellogg but not much beyond that.

may i recommend another approach?

Go onto all the PE firm websites and read where all their current employees have gotten their MBA from.

Those are both great suggestions. Thanks a lot.

I've developed a new found interest in Search Funds (where prospective entrepreneurs buy into an existing business and manage and grow it to exit). This is a relatively new development in the US and is basically non-existent in Canada (as far as I can tell).

Does anyone know about MBA's that might help further my career goals along this line of PE? Stanford has some research posted on the subject, so I would think they have some offerings along those lines, but I'd love to find out about any other schools aside from Stanford.

Thanks!
