I have an MBA admit from Eller College of Management,University of Arizona. The College is ranked #5 for its M.B.A. in information systems among US schools according to https://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandr ... s-rankings
I would like to clarify whether an MBA in Information Systems allows access to job profiles different from those provided after an MIS.
The jobs available to an MBA in IS are less technical than those available to an MIS grad.
Also it would be great if someone could throw light on the employment prospects after an MBA in Information Systems or just a General Management degree from Eller. The school I believe is trying to improve .
Could an expert please help ?

A tough decision. If you ask me, I think you can do better. the thing that would worry me if I were you is this statistic: Received first job offer by graduation: 60 %

Now, do you want to wait another year and go through the entire ordeal of applying to MBA programs again??? That's up to you. But in general for the best opportunities, you need to go to the best schools. It's as simple as that.

Jon,
How far employment statistic that you mentioned above should affect one's decision. I mean if it is low then it is certainly bad but is it that any school whose % employment is high is certainly a good school.

Mays's business school has global rank 51 but % employment is 93% , so should it be considered a good to go school https://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolra ... kings-2012
