The point will lie on the plane if 3r + 2 - s = 0
1) If 1 is true then it is also possible that 4r+9-s = zero and hence the point could be on other line.
Similarly for 2) 4r-6-s cane be zero...
But if you combine both then only 3r + 2 - s can be zero ..
because both 4r + 9 -S and ( 4r -6 - r) cannot be zero simultaneously
