Remember the Pythagorean triples of 3:4:5 and 5:12:13.
We have AD = 12 from 5:12:13.
And we have BD = 9 from 9:12:15 = 3:4:5.
Thus, the area of the triangle is (1/2)BC*AD = (1/2)(BD + DC)(AD) = (1/2)(14)(12) = 84.

Therefore, C is the answer.
