IMO E,

The reason is because Paolo argues that the relationship started in the renaissance period while the Tajudeen argues that the relationship always existed..

T is refuting the linkage P talking about

Only C & E talks about linkage. However, C distorts the causal relationship P is talking about

Ok, I am not an expert but the questions asks us to pic a choice that both of them would disagree on. Usually, this means that we need to pick a choice where both of them dis-agree.

A) is incorrect because both of them agree on the fact that some humans are eccentric. Hence, this is not a point of contention.

E) I believe is correct because Paolo believes that this was the case since the Renaissance period while Tajudeen states that this has been always the case; i.e. the resemblance predates the Renaissance period.

I am tied between B and D. The correct ans. choice would be the one P agrees with and T does not. Could be B or D. OA please?

IMO A.. here is my view:

conclusion: For centuries oceans and human eccentricity have been linked in the literary and artistic imagination

P - reason: European Renaissance practice of using ships as asylums for their socially undesirable.

T - reason: Oceans have always been viewed as mysterious and unpredictable- qualities that people have invariably associated with eccentricity.

if they agree that eccentric humans are undesirable humans their reasoning is same. so they should disagree that eccentric humans are socially undesirable...

so A is ans according to me.

if some one differs... plz point out fallacy in my reasoning.
