Hi leihannie07,

We're asked if B is an EVEN INTEGER. This is a YES/NO question. We can solve it by either TESTing VALUES or using Number Property Rules.

1) The product of B and integer C is even.

IF...
B=2, C=2, then the answer to the question is YES
B=1, C=2, then the answer to the question is NO
Fact 1 is INSUFFICIENT

2) B is divisible by 4.

If B is divisible by 4, then it has to be a multiple of 4 (re: -8, -4, 0, 4, 8, 12, etc.). Thus, B MUST be even - and the answer to the question is ALWAYS YES.
Fact 2 is SUFFICIENT

Final Answer: B
