This sentence compares the Engineering department with every other department because they are highly sought after and also because of their higher salaries.

Option A- INCORRECT
This option is wrong because, it uses the wrong modifier to modify the action in the first clause.

Option B- CORRECT
This option uses the correct verb modifier 'because of', it correctly states the untended meaning of the sentence.

Option C- INCORRECT
This option is wrong because, it seems like the sentence the graduates of Engineering department are the ones soughting for industries to employ them.

Option D- INCORRECT
To compare correctly in the sentence, we need a verb modifier 'because of', but the option uses a noun modifier 'due to'

Option E- INCORRECT
It uses the incorrect pronoun 'their', The noun 'engineering department' in the sentence is a singular noun so it needs a singular pronoun 'it'
