Let's use the logic,

First, we have that the area of \(P\) is given by
\(P=\dfrac{1}{2}\cdot b \cdot h = \dfrac{1}{2} \cdot 4 \cdot 1=2\)

Next, we see the options and we can quickly eliminate A, B, and C since they don't contain \(P.\)

Now, we calculate the area of \(S=\dfrac{1}{2} \cdot 3\cdot 1 =\dfrac{3}{2} \neq 2\), hence eliminates option E.

So, D is the correct answer.
