This might not be a split you can eliminate; personally I hear people use both in speech all the time. I'd look for other errors before using this split to rule out answer choices.

I went through the above mentioned thread and found that Manhattan uses 'correlates with' *only*.
This reminded me of 'compared with and compared to' which are both correct and are contextual.


Experts, can I take from this that 'correlates to' is always wrong.

So, I think both are correct. It depends on the context.
