This question can be solved however, it shouldnt be. You simply need to realize that it is showing the relationship of Price of Apples to Price of Oranges and asking you the revenue in the question stem.

In order to find revenue you need to find the Price and Number of oranges sold.

A.) Insufficient- it gives you the relationship of the number of apples sold and the number of oranges sold, but nothing about prices.

B.) Insufficient - it gives you the revenue of Apples (price of apple times number of apples), but nothing pertaining to oranges.

Both together are sufficient. You have price and quantity relationship and actual apple revenue which is sufficient to solve problem.

IMO C

statements 1 and 2 standalone are not sufficient.

combining,

total revenue TR= na*pa+no*po.........1

given
no=na+5.......................2
pa=po+0.10...............3

also na*pa=$15 or pa=15/na

putting in 3 we get 15/na=po+0.10
=>po=15/na-0.10.............4

from 1 and 4 we have TR= 15+(na+5)*(15/na-0.10) expressing in one variable

na is unknown. so we cant find the total revenue.

hence E
