well i think source of the question should be also provided
as frankly i dont think it is gmat questions...

3 options are very bad ...A,D,E and i dont think that gmat will make POE that easy....
and between B and C
'than will' eliminates that option from consideration...
so we even dont have to choose best one...
3 options are saying we are wrong...
1 is saying i am not right

so only one stands that is C
and i dont think in gmat we are that lucky...lol

GMAT score is equally counted as your GPA and 78 clicks can change you life.

Two things here -
1.make the sentence parallel - socialize and read
2. more quickly is the right form and not quicker (I think)

Hence C

Assertion 2, in a general case, is incorrect. Both more quickly and quicker are valid comparatives.

The difference is that quicker is an adjective while quickly is an adverb. The use of one or the other depends on what it is modifying. Here, the adverb more quickly is right because it is modifying the verb to read.

frank its a knewton sc question and it is given in homework so no doubt in that

niks just i dont understand what this question exactly wants parallelism or else

quicker than and more quickly than which one better i still dont have oa but as soon as i get i will post i thinks it should be c only

Keep in mind that "quicker" is an incorrect comparative form of "quick"; the correct usage is "more quickly". This understanding is like idiom, you basically have to just memorize it.
