Fast(within 2 mins) and efficient method to solve this and similar problems, please.
Convert the ratios to fractions.
June:(July+August) = 2:3.
Since 2+3 = 5, June = 2/5 of the total.
June = 2/5 * 24,000 = 9600.
July:(August+June) = 7:5.
Since 7+5 = 12, July = 7/12 of the total.
July = 7/12 * 24,000 = 14,000.
Thus, August = Total - June - July = 24,000 - 9600 - 14,000 = 400.
