It is risky to copy ideas from essays which are available on the internet - this is because several other people may have also used the same ideas, and you stand the chance of being rejected for plagiarism.

Secondly, the university wants to know about you, your unique attributes, your vision and how you can make a difference to the world with your unique contribution - thus copying others essays would make your content very generic and hence it would entirely miss what your university is looking to know of your features. Thus it would be another reason for getting rejected.

Rather write your own essays - keep these points in mind while writing your essays -

An out of box thinker with the drive and passion to come up with unique ideas.
How you have made great difference to your work place with outstanding ideas.
Have A New Vision before you post-MBA to create a disruption in any field and emerge as a trendsetter.
Strong extra-curriculars, with interests in diverse areas.
Have an open mind and knowledge of multiple sectors and industries.
Ambitious, yet realistic.

Thereafter, one should consult multiple consultants to gather the maximum possible diverse opinion - this will ensure application strategy is fool-proof since it is vetted by several experts. Essays are not to test your writing skills - but to discover your hidden potential.

Harvard Business School's "Harbus" site offers a compilation of successful HBS essays, which is updated annually. It can be helpful -- not to copy, heaven forbid, somebody else's work, but to show you how many different effective approaches there can be, while providing a reasonably good overview of standard length and structure. This is relevant only to HBS's daunting "open topic" essay, but it's a good start, and you have the comfort of knowing that these are real essays from real, accepted applicants.
