IMO B.... what the OA...

The fact of.......is wrong.......hence A is out.....

With ............, it...............wrong con.........C is out.....as -it- has no noun to refer to .........

Same is the case wiht D........in D, - it - has no noun to refer to ......

Again in E, this fact has nothing to refer to .........Hence out.......

and B wins......
