Sometimes expanding a sentence and understands it's meaning can help in answering the question:
In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines have been priced to sell, and they are.
(C) are priced to sell, and they do
C is the correct answer. OG explans that "they do" means "they do sell". Does it actually means that "The wines do sell to somebody" or "Somebody do sell the wine"? This kind of sentence is quite weird to me...
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
