1. n is posiitve integer. t is posiitve integer.
When n is divided by 3 the remainder is 2. When t is divided by 5 the remainder is 3. What is the remander when n*t is divided by 15?

i. n-2 is divisible by 5
ii. t is divisible by 3

2. IN 1995, Division A (DA) of Company X had 4,850 customers. If there were 86 service errors in DA that year, what was the service error rate, in number of service error per 100 customers, for Division B (DB) of company X in 1995?

i. In 1995 the overall service-error rate for DA and DB combined was 1.5 service-error per 100 customers?
ii. In 1995, DB had 9,350, none of whom were customers of DA.

No genius here, so take advice accordingly.

For #1, i brought this question up last week:

For #2, IMO answer is C

From 1 we still need # of errors and # of customers in DB.

From 2 we get # of customers, so combined with 1, sufficient for solving.
