The number of 5 Letter coded words will be = 10*9*8*7*6
The number of 4 Letter coded words will be = 10*9*8*7

Therefore the ratio of 5 letter to 4 letter words will be = 6 : 1

Is the answer E?

The number of five letter words = 10P5 = 10!/5!
The number of five letter words = 10P4 = 10!/4!

So the ratio is 6:1
The answer is E
