From your scores I would say you would score more than 680. Be confident on the exams. Conserve energy and make use of the breaks. Wish you good luck.

I got wrecked

by gmat8000 » Sun Nov 04, 2007 3:12 pm
Dismal 600. I don't know what happened exactly. Woke up on the wrong side of bed that morning. Was a bit nervous. My quant score was a 37. Something went wrong that day. I'm shocked because this score is significantly lower than my first attempt (I'm trying to get 680 or above). Apps are due in January and I have to focus on them right now, but now I have to figure out a way to squeeze in review time. I've exhausted the OG materials and don't need to do the problems again because I literally have them memorized. Eric, what do you suggest? I'm going to retake the last week of December and it's my last shot.

Sorry to hear that you didn't reach your goal. :(

Do you think your performance was due to nerves? Your practice tests seemed consistently stronger...

If you are looking for new materials, I recommend MGMAT and Kaplan books/problems. There should be enough material there to keep you in practice over the next month. I would also go back through OG again and review your errors, and deeply dissect why you got certain questions wrong.

Hang in there!
