Though, it is an old post, but still not sure of the difference btw Greater vs More:
The gyrfalcon, an Arctic bird of prey, has survived a close brush with extinction; its numbers are now five times greater than when the use of DDT was sharply restricted in the early 1970's.
(A) extinction; its numbers are now five times greater than
(B) extinction; its numbers are now five times more than
(C) extinction, their numbers now fivefold what they were
(D) extinction, now with five fold the numbers they had
(E) extinction, now with numbers five times greater than
OA A.
Though Ron explained the concept in detail (https://www.beatthegmat.com/og-10-qs-251-t10581.html)but could not connect with that explanation.
2) Also, appreciate if someone can please help me with threads of similar questions, if anyone has.
