Rock samples taken from the remains of an asteroid about twice the size of the 6-mile-wide asteroid that eradicated the dinosaurs has been dated to be 3.47 billion years old and thus is evidence of the earliest known asteroid impact on earth.

Subject verb agreement problem.

The subject in the above sentence is Rock samples which clearly means we need to use plural verb "Have".
Thus option A and B gets eliminated.

As being wrong-D can be eliminated.

Among C & E Dated at is the correct idiom.

Hence E is the answer

Are there any other verbs that you're aware of that should be followed by "at", other than "targeted" and "dated"?
