Hello everyone,
:?
I am completely disappointed and don't know how to go about preparing for SC. Most say that this is the easiest in Verbal. But I am a complete nervous wreck. Could you someone guide me step-by-step and what material I should use.
I have now picked up Wren&Martin to go through high school grammar.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Vijay.

PS: I am located out of India; hence might not have access to all books/material

Vijay - like I, you might be a student of non-english medium. Trust me it is hard to get through the SC part. I don't want to discourarge you, but after lots of practice you will feel SC as a piece of cake and you like to solve only SC questions.

I will suggest you few things, which I followed when I started SC first time.

1. If you are new to GMAT prepration then check the topics, which GMAT tests. Topicssuch as parallelism, subject-verb agreement, modifier etc. Search on google what is topic is. You will get an idea that what exactly GMAT tests.
2. Start practicing as questions either from book or from different forums.
3. go through the manhattan SC guide.
4. Start solving 1000SC (most instructors think it is not a good source. However, it helped me)
5. Keeping on practicing questions on forum. You will see most of respected forum mates, wo are always ready to help.
6. Start giving mock tests.
Keep in mind you need to practice tons of questions. After doing all above things you will start seeing very good result in SC.

BEST OF LUCK
