ps relation

the reaction rate is directly proportionate to the square of concentration b. it is inversly proportionate to the concentration of b. if be is increased by 100% what is the change in the percentage of A to keep the rate the same?

A) 100% decrease
b) 50% decrease
c) 40% decrease
d) 40% increase
e) 50% increase

why is d the correct answer?
