CR - timing issue

by achieve_dream » Mon Jul 26, 2010 9:45 am
Hi guys,

I have a problem with timing in CR problems.

I am able to solve the CR question correctly in 2 mins 30 seconds. But if I hurry up and try to do in 2 min, I miss some info and that leads to wrong answer.
As you know, we need to complete it with in 1 min 45 secs.

So my question is how to imporve the speed in CR?

The only thing that helped me... reading and doing lots of it. Read the newspaper for an hour day. Do CR and RC passage for the fun of it. It really the only thing thats going to help. If you try to skim your likely going to miss a critical word. I believe this is something that must people need to just muscle through and work to develop those faster reading skills.

Thanks,

Jared

Initially, just concentrate on accuracy.

You should be able not only to find the correct one but also to reject all the wrong choices.

I mean your fundamentals should be very clear.
Once you are comfortable with that, your timing will automatically improve.
