Please Help! Quick Question

by businesssap18 » Wed Oct 21, 2009 4:03 am
I recently applied to a school with a 690 GMAT. I plan on taking the GMAT again - but I just received notification that the school I applied to has begun reviewing my application. Would it be a good idea to call the school and let them know I am retaking the GMAT in 2 weeks so that they can reflect it in their records, or should I wait and just report the score when i take it? I have already checked, and the school does accept a new GMAT score if you have already submitted an application.

Thanks!

Dear businesssap18,

Yes, I think you should let the school know your new GMAT test date. Of course, you could just wait until you know the score if you are worried it won't go up. If you are confident you can increase the score though, then you should let them know.

Good luck on your retake!
