Manhattan CR vs Powerscore CR

Hey,
I have a couple of queries which I hope you guys can give me some insight on. I have not started my verbal preparation yet. I want to know whether I should tackle the 3 topics individually or do come general book like Kaplan Premier and then target each section.
And I did go on a spree and got all the books I could.I have both the books Powercore GMAT and Manhattan GMAT for CR. Which one do you recommend to start with and shall I do both?

in order to understand or i should say to start from basic one must read Powerscore CR....after mastering basics in order to learn how quickly one can select a correct ans one must read Manhattan cr.......in order to handle toughies one must have kaplan
if you have months in your hand then better go for all three
if u dnt have any time then go for manhattan

its purely based on my personal exp

Yeah I have PowerScore and Manhattan. I went through PowerScore in the beginning of my study plan, and now I just use Manhattan. I want to take some time to go through PowerScore again, but it's not a must.

My goal is to make MBA applicants take onus over their process.

I had used both the PowerScore and the MGMAT CR and I realized that it is not a good idea to use various sources of information for the same topic. Simply choose the best prep/strategy book and stick with it. Then simply do the questions from the OG. Studying the same topic over and over from different books will only harm your preparation. CR is particularly true since the strategies to master the questions are pretty simple, you only need to practice a lot with OG questions and understand your mistakes. If I had to choose, I would choose the MGMAT CR: it is more concise than PowerScore and it classifies the OG questions by topic. The only warning I would give on the MGMAT CR is to not take the "diagramming" for granted. It may or may not work for you. All other strategies recommended by the book are good.
