quant score good enough?

I just took the GMAT and got:

Quant: 48/84th
verbal: 45/98th

Overall: 750/98th

Was told that both sections had to make 85% cutoff. Should i retake again?

I believe the cut off is 80th percentile (and it's not a hard and fast cut off, just a "like to see") so you're probably fine. At least, I hope so, I have a similar score to you.
