You can predict

Hi Uri,
No you cannot simply know how many questions there are for a passage. However, you can predict closely, as no of questions is directly proportional to the length of the passage.

Thanks Raj!

But do we ever get more than 4 questions on a passage? In OG and in the books of Kaplan and MGMAT, we sometimes get passages with 7 questions too. Can anybody tell if that is also the case with GMAT?

I also wanted to know if we can read all questions before the passage
I know that this is not recommened but is this possible ?If i skip ques of RC ( not skip whole of RC ) and come back to it later after going through all the questions

you'll not be able to read all the questions without attempting any of them. that is for sure.

but what i want to know is whether we can know how many questions are there for a particular passage. knowing the no. of qns would help us to manage time properly.

You will know how many questions are there for a particular RC.

The passage would state questions 6-10 or something along those lines indicating the number of questions.

This helps in time management.

that would be great! but i have never seen this message in any of the practice tests by GMAT Prep/ MGMAT/ Kaplan. Can you please confirm whether this instruction is also available in those practice tests and that I have missed? Or whether this information is available only in the actual GMAT?

i think the indications and the line numbers are not there in the new version of GMATprep, they were there in the older versions.
