x and y are positive. But the key here is x and y could be a fraction or an integer.

is x^3 > y?

1. If x is an integer, then x^3 could be greater than y. But if x is a fraction, x^3 will even more reduce its original value which could be less than y. Insufficient.

2. Same reason. Insufficient.

Combined,
Still we cannot be sure because of the same reason.
Insufficient.
