Should I go to Thunderbird?

Hi everyone,

The only school I got into is Thunderbird. I did not get a scholarship either, so I would be paying full price. I do have an interest in international business, so I think that this is a good match for me.

Could anyone tell me if Thunderbird is worth the money? I would be moving from overseas to come to America. I also do not have $70,000 US. How can I get a loan from America?

Would appreciate if someone could help before I make such a big decision.

Im thinking about applying to thunderbird so would like a response to the question as well.

Can I ask, what was your GMAT, GPA and work experience? And which country are you travelling from?

Congratulations on your admission to Thunderbird! If your career goals are around international business, then it is a great program with many resources. While the price tag for business school seems high, you have to think of it as an investment in you and your future versus a cost. In order to secure your student visa, you will need to show proof of funds, so you need to start figuring out how you will pay for school now. Loans in the US are difficult to get if you are not a US citizen or Permanent Resident. As such, the only way for non-citizens to get a loan from a US bank is for a US citizen or Permanent Resident to co-sign the loan. Co-signing means that person is also responsible for paying the loan back when you graduate. Consequently, most international students secure loans from bank in their home countries.
