Hi,

I was wondering if I can quit my job after the MBA applications but before the notification date? If deadline is January and they notify me of the decision by April, then can I quit or switch jobs between Jan and April? I'm assuming this is ok as long as I notify them of the situation.

You can do whatever you want to do

Will it impact your likelihood of getting accept and do you have to notify the MBA programs? No. Although, if you're not transitioning into another job, you might wait until after your interview so that you don't have to answer questions about your current job in the past tense.
