A certain liquid leaks out of a container at the rate of k liters for every x hours. If the liquid costs $6 per liter, what is the cost, in dollars, of the amount of the liquid that will leak out in y hours?

A) ky / 6x
B) 6x / ky
C) 6k / xy
D) 6ky / x
E) 6xy / k

Will post the OA after some discussion

Leakage (in liters) in x hours = k

∴ Leakage (in liters) in 1 hour = k/x

∴ Leakage (in liters) in y hours = k y/x, which @$6 a liter would cost
6 k y/x
of dollar.
