First I think it is one of the gmat prep Q, so definetly gmat like. Let us analyse:
Thursday : 5 specially ordered shipment
Friday : Only building supplies
Sat/Sun : closed no work
M/T/W : No idea what happened.
3 of the 4 to Truax were building supplies, on friday only building supplied were sent but not vice versa.
A: What we know for sure is one of the shipment can not be sent on friday. But it can be sent on M/T/W and needn't be special.
B: There is no connection between specially ordered and building shipment other than they were sent on different days.
C: Same as A.
D: What we know for sure that on monday only building material were shipped, but it doesn't mean all building supplies were on friday. So wrong.
So IMO E.

This question is from gmat sets ( scoretop) not from GMATprep . I took the gmat in december and scored a 94th percentile on verbal , but I never encountered a single question like this ever in my preparation. Hence , was speaking from my own experience .
Anyways good explanation by you maihuna !

I just came across it on the internet.
We should definitely take away this question.
