Can somebody please explain to me the difference between usage of older than & older to or elder than or elder to?

I think:
older to & elder than don't exist.
older than is used when: Ria is older than all her friends. OR Ris is older than he is.
elder to is used when: I am three years elder to my sister.

Somebody please explain.
