Let the population of the village be N.
1:
7N/11 people are married. 4N/11 are unmarried or single.
2:
200 widows and 2000 singles.
4N/11 = 2000
N = 5500
There's something wrong, especially with the language of the second Statement.
Is it a Verbal cum Math question where you have to correct the language of the second statement first and then solve it mathematically?
