Just a thought, does the solution exist for k for a simple equation
2^k=-2^2 ? If not please explain why

No, there is no real k for which 2^k will be equal to -2^2
The simple reason is -2^2 is a negative quantity and any power of 2 (positive or negative, integer or fraction) will be always positive.
