D is correct...

in E it looks like Home featured the preperation of great quantities of ceremonial food....

but actually there should be festivals...

Look at the choices and immediately rule out A, B and E it talks about home featuring that’s incorrect so C and D qualify. C is not worded as well as D hence D is best possible choice
