Can some one explain when to use " due to" and "because" in a sentence??

This is really a tough one. Both are used to introduce clause, typically effect and cause scenario.

Guys, would appreciate some good explanation on that.

Takeaway :

Use DUE TO, when you can replace DUE TO with CAUSED BY

The match's postponement was DUE TO rain

Notice here, If I were replace DUE TO with CAUSED BY
The sense of the sentence remains same

The match was postponed BECAUSE OF rain
Correct usage of BECAUSE OF here gives reason , why the match was postponed

i have seen BECAUSE OF as incorrect idiom in many explanations.
