According to recent studies comparing the nutritional value of meat from wild animals
and meat from domesticated animals, wild animals have less total fat than do livestock

Is it B ?

A - "they" has no referent

C - "that" has no referent

D - incorrect comparison between total fat and livestock

E - their, they, totally awkward

Yes, the OA is B but I feel "do" is missing for comparison.

all of them looked wrong to me too, but OA is B...

I agree. B incorrectly compares "fat" to "livestock". "Wild animals have more fat than livestock..." Well, that's obvious; wild animals don't have any livestock. :?

I'm curious.... In this kind of comparison, DO can be omitted?

for example, Tom has more money than Kathy..... ?

I agree. Not the best of questions.

But of the lot, I think B is ok. I have seen "do" get omitted sometimes
though in this particular case, I feel it needs to be explicit.

Okay I think all of them are not gramatically correct but B is just better than the rest.... :( thanks for your help.
