Hi!
I took the GMAT yesterday and scored 640, not so bad, but my prefered university requires 650.
During the test something really stupid happened:
I didn't tak the first pause between writing and quant, i was fine and didn't need a break. after quant, however, i chose to take the break, because I needed to go to the toilet. i clicked on "I want to take the break" and raised my hand, that the operator comes or tells me it is ok to stand up and leave the room. The 10 minutes were counting down but nothing happened. I keeped holding my hand up and looked around where the cameras are and that the operator can see me, but nothing happened. Aber 9 minutes (!!!) waiting and raising my hand continously the operator came and told me he is sorry, he didn't look at the screeens. From my break there was only 1 minute left. I rushed to the toilet, which was one level down and back in 3 minutes and thereby missed 2 minutes of my verbal part. There I had time problems at the end and had to rush through the last questions. I had really needed these 2 lost minutes.
The operator told me I can ask at mba.com if I get a free attemp because of this disadvantage during the gmat. This test is so f***** expensive and then you can expect to write it at ideal conditions and should have the right to go to the toilet for 3 minutes during the 10 minute break.
Do you think I will get a new free attemp? Does one of you have an idea where I can send this issue to to reach somebody who is in charge of cases like this?
