I assume both programs will work for people starting at the 500 level (ours does and I would assume the same is true for PR).
First, do feel good about the fact that you are not too far from your goal; that bodes well for your chances to succeed.
Second, check out whatever free offerings you can get from both companies, ask lots of questions and, ideally, attend free sessions with the teacher(s) you'd actually have if you took a course from that company. See which program and teacher you think is the best fit for you.
For my company, we offer free GMAT Preview Classes (see our website for a list of upcoming events) and we also let a limited number of people sit in on the first class session of a regular course for free (assuming that class hasn't already sold out). If you attend a session with someone who would be your actual teacher, make sure to talk to that teacher one-on-one at the end of the class - ask a question or two, explain your situation, whatever you want - but talk to the teacher and see how s/he responds to your questions or situation. That will give you a very good idea of whether you want this person to be your teacher.
