Hi,
Fraction of syrup is 7/15.
If x parts is removed and replaced by water, volume of syrup will be 7-(7x/15)
So, new fraction of syrup is (7-(7x/15))/15 = 2/5
So, x=15/7 = 2.14
Hence, C
Cheers!
