Hi,

I just finished taking the GMAT for the third time (510, 590, 590). I received a 42 Q and 29 V. I really seem to struggle with verbal, specifically CR. I think I made a mistake in not studying the Official Guides before taking the test but does anyone have any advice on how I can possibly improve my verbal score?

I am applying to business school for fall 2009 and it makes me sad that a GMAT score might keep me out of some top schools.

Thank you.

"..does anyone have any advice on how I can possibly improve my verbal score?" :)

This is the million dollar question my friend. But you are at the right place.

Most of the GMAT success and journeys start with clicking the link below:

And you will hear this from many people but Manhattan GMAT Sentence Correction guide and Power Score Critical Reason Bible are excellent books for anybody who wants to improve his /her verbal score.

Good luck
