Hi everyone, esp the verbal Guru's,
I have been studying for GMAT for a while (about 1.5 months). In this period I have managed to give 4 -5 full length test too. Most of my scores have been ranging between 590- 630(highest ever). The breakup 42-46 Q and V- 26-29!!
As can now see very clearly that verbal is my weakness and analysed that Verbal is also weighed heavily in GMAT, cant afford to miss points on this one. I have been trying hard to get this score up by atleat 10 points but all efforts till now are falling apart.
To start with a month back,my major weakness was SC, RC and CR in the Descending order of problem areas.
I started studying SC from Manhattan SC guide (trust me its not simple to study from the book either). Now SC has improved and RC and CR have gone down, (although I am practising quite regularly). My scores have always been 50-60 percentile only. Even after studying form SC guide I find it difficult to spot, which SC question is relating to what concept!
I am not expecting any magic wand, from you, but the D- DAY being a month away I really need to conquer the verbal part of the game.
And now I really recall Eric's statement in a post stating that people emphasise on Q, because thats easier to study!! Dont want that slip to happen to me.
Need your advice and an action plan if possible.
