i know so many of these types of questions come up that, and the correct answer is 'except for gmatprep, nothing is as accurate.'
HOWEVER, i would like to receive input from reps from Veritas. I just took the free cat test, and i scored a 710 (q51, 43). I had taken the gmatprep test 1 a few weeks back and scored a 740, with a q49 and v41 (it was my second time on gmatprep test 1, so it's slightly inflated), but for purposes of this question i'm comparing the subsection scores, and with a q49v41 gmatprep scores a 740, while a q51v43 veritas scores a 710.. How should I understand this score that i received from Veritas?
