Key to getting RC questions right is noticing whether what is stated in an answer choice truly matches what is said in the passage.
Often the answer choices are worded just right for tricking you into thinking you read something that you actually did not.
So one thing you can do is to make a point of always checking your answer against the passage to see whether it really matches what the passage says or actually only matches what you thought the passage says.
Also, as you practice RC, practice slowly at first, without being too concerned with the clock or with finishing within a certain amount of time. Often people do practice problems on a timed basis all the time, because they want to match the test experience. The problem with doing things that way is that a person never gives himself the opportunity to really struggle through questions and learn how to get them right consistently. By working slowly, you can learn about what it takes to get right answers and achieve a high hit rate. So find some more high quality RC practice problems and do them however slowly you have to in order to achieve a hit rate of at least 90%. Once you achieve that hit rate, you can speed up.

When it comes to Reading Comprehension (RC), I don't believe that there's one specific approach that works best for everyone. I always recommend that students spend some time experimenting with different strategies to see which one best suits their memory, reading speed and English proficiency.
Having said that, when reading ANY Reading Comprehension (RC) passage, it's crucial that you engage 100% in the passage. So, rather than approach a new passage with dread ("I don't enjoy reading it at all"), try to feign interest ("Excellent! This passage is about stock market regulations in Peru!"). The better your engagement, the better the results.
