I'm just getting my feet wet in preparing for the GMATs, which at this point in time has been trying to come up with a study strategy that will complement my full-time + some, 75% travel, 24/7 blackberry enabled career. With that being said I am in a position where I will have to either self-study or take an online course. I have decided that I want to try the self-study method first and see how that works out.
In any case I'm trying to acquire the first round of tools (i.e. guides, online tests, etc.) which will assist me in my ultimate pursuit of taking the exam by the end of the summer.
After scouring posts and forums I have decided to purchase the PR: Cracking the GMAT guide and the three OG (Official Guides) from GMAC, to start studying. I assume that based on practice test results I will identify specific areas that need improvement and can then purchase books specifically to address those weaknesses. My next move is to identify some on-line exams, in addition to the free ones from (i.e. GMATPrep) to supplement these guides.
I saw the poll (Best Practice Tests?) in the forum and was wondering if the Manhattan Computer Adaptive Practice Exams https://www.manhattangmat.com/storeitems ... 81&catid=4, was what everyone is referring to. It appears that you get 6 exams, which you can take over and over again for a year.
I therefore have two questions:
1. Is this the correct online exam?
2. Does anyone have any feedback for my initial study strategy???
Thank you for your time and assistance!
