For the farmer who takes care to keep them cool, providing them with high energy feed, and milking them regularly, Holstein cows are producing an average of 2 gallons of milk per year.
Why this sentence is incorrect ? Thanks

'are producing' implies these events are happening simultaneously. In fact, what is happening is ]if the cows are cared for, then they WILL produce milk.
