So, I'm taking the GMAT on the 19th as I'm interested in a particular program. Anybody have a 10-day study strategy. My other options are rolling admissions, so I plan to take the test again if I blow it. I've purchased the OG and borrowed a friend's Kaplan 800

Here's my background.

Business Major, graduated in 2001
Published Author
1320 SAT score with no practice

From the practice tests I've been doing, my reading comprehension and sentence correction are fine, it's the math that's kicking me in the face as I haven't done Geometry or factoring in a looooong time.

Should I look at private tutoring/online courses, etc, or just study on my own and get into a program if I do poorly the first time?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

10 days isn't much time, but it seems like you have a history of being a strong test taker. Take some time to look at the resources available here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/resources.html

I would put together a quick strategy, take a few practice tests, and go for it if you're so inclined. I usually recommend 2-3 months of prep, but you may have time constraints that I'm not aware of.

I would plan for self study. As you already are into practise it'd be easy for you to make your own schedule based on your weaknesses and strengths!

600 on the Princeton Review practice test 33 Verbal 40 Math with 2 days to go. Anyone know how well the PR test simulates the real deal?

The experience seems to vary by person, but I personally thought my PR scores were in the right ball park to my actual performance. The best way to gauge your performance though is GMATPrep.

Took Manhattan practice test: Similar score, completely opposite results: 31 Quant, 31 percentile, 45 Verbal, 99 percentile, score: 610
